First Songs was recorded between 2006 and 2009 in Hingham, MA, Saratoga Springs, NY, and Berkeley, CA.  It was released on October 15th, 2009.  Percussion on "About a B.O.I." by David Stern.

Froggystein lives in Somerville, MA and performs with the help of friends in the North East.

Praise for "The Flowers In Your Eyes Are Blooming" (later renamed "Flowers"):  This song has many sections, one for each time of day. You can wear it as a talisman as you swing your machete, cut through the jungle, wade through the lake, inflate your bike-tires, go inside, find her in the crowd, and kiss her on the mouth (saidthegramophone).
